Abstract
In this paper, a robust error correction technique is developed for the Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system to improve the quality of communication. The technique is based on Time-Frequency Interleave (TFI) Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) product code in consideration of error propagation. The conventional LDPC code is not useful for damaged symbol bit estimation when random and burst types of errors are mixed in wireless mobile communications. To improve the performance of the MC-CDMA system, TFI technique and LDPC product code in consideration of error propagation are combined. In the simulations, the performance of the MC-CDMA system is analyzed in various interference and noise environments. The effectiveness of the proposed error correction technique used for the MC-CDMA system is examined.
