The study of web information acquisition based on semantic zooming

The keyword-based searching technology has its blindness in nature while the fully intelligent searching engine is still not in its maturity. To cope with this situation, this paper proposes a transitive solution. By analyzing the people´s searching habit and the semantic extent of the searching keywords, we studied the association between semantics of the keywords and the searching result, whereby forming a link of words with similar semantic and different connotation. By switching between the words in this link, we can adjust and control the size of searching results. We also propose the concept of semantic zooming, combined with which, a new keyword-based searching solution is put forward.
