  • Abstract
    Blade tip-timing (BTT) is a promising method for the detection, measurement and analysis of blade vibrations in rotating bladed assemblies. However the BTT data is badly sampled and specialized analysis methods are needed to extract the vibration performance parameters. In this paper, Theoretical derivation is done to the speed-vector-end-track (SVET) method which used in synchronous vibration measuring. Blade vibration detecting experiment has been accomplished successfully on rotating equipment. Vibration performance parameters such as natural frequencies of the rotating blades have been measured with SVET method. The data is analyzed detailedly. And good result is obtained by compared with theory.
