Abstract
This work is to study the performance of the proposed novel technique called Bulk Flow TCP and to investigate the contention resolution bahaviour for the various domains like Time, Space and in particular Wavelength. The statistical probability towards resolving contention were observed through simulation and it is found that the system exhibits an improved performance over conventional Packet or Byte oriented data transmission scenarios. It is also found through simulation that the contribution of wavelength to resolve contention is of higher percentage than time or space.
