  • Abstract
    In order to simulate dynamic grassland scenes, this paper views wind field as a stationary stochastic process/field related with time and space adhering to the principles of wind engineering. Use linear auto-regression filter to generate eligible wind speed and use finite element method to achieve the motion of different part of grass driven by the wind force. In addition, this paper adopt a hybrid method with L-system and image-based to achieve the parametric modeling of grass in close view, then model grass in far view using star structure for rendering efficiently. The result demonstrates that the proposed scheme can realistically simulate the dynamic scenes in real-time.
