Abstract

Information Supporting System is an important part of C⁴ISR. Analyzing and assessing the information supporting capability of Information Supporting System and its contribution to the war have become the important research topic. Based on making clear the concept of Information Supporting System, a capabilities-based simulation and modeling methodology is proposed. The methodology is used for modeling the information supporting capability. Then an Information Supporting System model, which can reflects the information supporting capability of Information Supporting System in different degrees at each development stage, is built up and implemented.
