  • Abstract
    In recent years, the research on the routers has paid more attention to open, programmable and high-reconfigurable field. According to this trend, we design the reconfiguration router unit. This paper gave the design principle of the reconfiguration router unit. And based on the principle the paper gave algorithm 1 and 2 to construct the component chain and flow-burst component model, and accomplish the model. In order to design the reconfiguration router unit, configurations are written in XML language that supports user-defined abstractions. This language is both readable by humans and easily manipulated by tools. Due to the model and language, we implement the reconfiguration router unit.
