Abstract

Product lifecycle management aims at providing a collaboration platform for integrated product team and partners in supply chain through integrating different stages in product lifecycle. In this paper, function and architecture of product lifecycle management system are analyzed first. Then system model is established from point of view of application and development. Product view and process view is the core of system model. Process analysis in product lifecycle management is described in detail. Finally extended design structure matrix example is proposed to support process analysis of workflow.
