Abstract :
This paper classifies the MRO information resources from source dimension and analyzes the way of the MRO information´s organization firstly. By means of analyzing the characteristic of different type of equipment data from four angles, the paper proposes and discusses the compound MROBOM made up of neutral structure, position structure and physical structure. Then through quantitatively comparing compound MROBOM with single-tree MROBOM, the paper points out that the vast data redundancy and severe data inconsistency are brought about by the metadata redundancy if MROBOM adopts the single-tree structure. Finally the paper concludes that the compound MROBOM can significantly reduce data redundancy and enhance data consistency compared with the single-tree MROBOM.
