Research of mobile business integrated with RFID technology in the logistics pallet leasing

At present, more and more enterprises have been dedicated in introducing application of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology into their work flow or logistics management or goods tracking, etc. In this paper, it presents an application framework of a RFID prototype system integrating mobile business (m-business) in the logistics pallet leasing. The aims of the framework are to keep track of locations of pallet, provide greater visibility of operations data, and improve control processes. The paper illustrates the benefits and advantages of using the RFID system, particularly its support of m-business logistics activities in the pallet leasing.
