Abstract :
Using a single chirp-adjustable injection-locked 1.55-mum multi-mode VCSEL followed by a tunable interferometer, we experimentally demonstrate three reconfigurable 10 GHz functions, showing UWB generation, NRZ-to-PRZ format conversion, and clock recovery.
