Abstract
We present a bismuth borate optical parametric oscillator pumped by cavity-dumped Nd:YLF laser delivering low jitter 9.5ns millijoule pulses at 1 kHz tunable from 720 to 900 nm that is ideally suited for photoacoustic medical imaging.
