Abstract
In this paper, design and implementation of a 3times3 matrix converter for VSCF application in wind-power generation system is presented. The double line-to-line control strategy, which can improve the performance of matrix converter under abnormal input voltage conditions, and hardware design of the matrix converter system are described detailedly. In order to implement this strategy and deliver the PWM pulses to the appropriate switches, digital signal processor (DSP) and complex programmable logic device (CPLD) are used. Finally, experiment device is designed. Some experimental results are given and the performance of the matrix converter is discussed.
