  • Abstract
As a new ldquogreenrdquo converter, Matrix converter can render bi-directional power flow without big energy storage. Based on the special structure of Brushless Doubly-Fed Machine (BDFM), the wind power system with BDFM fed by MC is advanced in the future. Meanwhile, the reactive power analysis will become more and more important as the development of wind power technology. This paper created the model of BDFM fed by MC, analyzed the dual-space vector modulation mode of MC, and then analyzed the transfer principle of the reactive power in the circuit. Lastly, from the simulation experiment, we can get a good result and prove that the method we proposed is correct.
