  • Abstract
    A novel approach for constructing interpolation polynomials based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) was presented. The fitness function is defined based on interpolation condition. PSO is used to optimize the interpolation polynomials coefficient to get the interpolation polynomials satisfy the interpolation condition. Examples of interpolation validate the algorithm. The results show the presented interpolation polynomials constructor method has value in engineering practice and numerical calculation.
