Abstract
Color harmony for digital image is an interesting research topic. In this paper, we present a novel algorithm for color harmony based on fitting functions. In order to specify the standard and the style of color harmony, a reference image and its corresponding painting made by an artist should be given, and we will derive two fitting functions from them. When the user inputs a digital image, we apply the fitting functions to it to get a new harmonized image with the specified art style. The Experiments show that our algorithm can generate new images with good color harmony.
