  • Abstract
    Finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is effectively applied to design and analyze a photonic crystal substrate in the c-band. Also, a numerical simulation of 2 element array of E-shaped patch microstrip antenna has been carried out with the purpose of increasing the 10-dB bandwidth. Moreover, a series of simulations are performed to increase number of bands of the coplanar EE-shaped patches by using the designed photonic crystal substrate.
