Abstract
A systematic method is clearly developed for the solution of shielding effectiveness problems for multi-layer cylindrical and spherical magnetic shells. In order to shield against high magnetic field we have to use multiple shells arrangements where a high saturation magnetic metals faces the high density magnetic field without the necessity of having high permeability. This is followed by a low saturation high permeability layer. The possibility of using more than two layers is considered in this paper. In multiple magnetic shield each magnetic layer is separated from the next one by an air or vacuum layer.
