Abstract
CONN (Compound Orthogonal Neural Network)-PID hybrid controller whose advantages have been highlighted amid hybrid control systems gradually is characterized by simple topology structure, high control accuracy, good real-time control ability and strong robust-ability. Aiming at its significant meaning in application, this article attempts to gain an insight into this new intelligent control system and evaluate this new controller by simulation. It also summarizes the factors which may affect its performance in the end.
