Abstract
Considerable tension and cost revolve around the implementation of ESD audit limits. Historical scaling of audit limits with damage thresholds are confronted with the costs of compliance with reduced audit limits. This work develops a theoretical basis for establishing and scaling current transient, surface potential, EMI and surface charge audit limits.
