Abstract
Retail electricity market models applied in different countries vary; the differences are related to for example regulation concerning invoicing and metering arrangements. Retail market model has an influence on competition in the market, since the unbundling arrangements may have an effect on how customers understand their opportunity to switch supplier. So far, active markets have been achieved with very different market models.
