Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks are increasingly utilized in large-scale sensing applications. In this paper, we propose a novel wireless sensor network model based on simple assumption of wireless sensor network. The model implies some useful result: the number of parent nodes is determined by communication radius and average distance of sensor nodes; the communication cost caused by multi-path is very large, but it could be controlled by a mathematical limit. This model could also be utilized in other scenes, such as multi-sink.
