Abstract :
The results of optimization of gyroklinotron parameters by efficiency at f=100 GHz with interaction on the first and the third harmonics of the cyclotron frequency are presented. The predicted electron efficiency of gyroklinotron reaches 70% on first harmonic and 40% on third harmonic, i. e. more than in usual gyrotron. Besides in contrast to common gyrotron the width of electron beam on radius of guiding centre of electron orbits in gyroklinotron might considerably exceed bearing length of the wave lambda. This allows using more powerful electron beams than in the typicall gyrotron.
