Abstract
Activities concerning an industrial wireless have become more active in the process automation (PA). In this paper, ZigBee, WirelessHART and ISA100.11a are introduced as typical industrial wireless standards, and the comparison between WirelessHART and ISA100.11a those are installed or are expected in PA field is explained. In addition, activities of international standardization and regional radio regulations are shown. Moreover, as feature technologies for application of wireless to industrial use, frequency hopping, mesh networking and channel blacklisting are introduced.
