Title :
The John Howard Memorial University Grant Award - Success at the University of Nevada, Reno
Abstract :
In 1998 a course in electromagnetic compatibility was introduced as a senior level undergraduate technical elective (it could also be taken for graduate credit) in the Electrical Engineering curriculum by Professors Bruce Johnson and Randy Haupt. It turned out to be a very popular class and was taught for many years by Dr. Johnson until he retired. The course became dormant for many years and was not taught. In the meantime, the anechoic chamber in the Department of Electrical Engineering continued to be used for pre-compliance and antenna testing by local and regional companies.
