Abstract :
The effect of preview feedforward action is investigated in terms of the H2 performance. We first establish a result on H2 multiple preview compensation for stabilized control systems and clarify the relation between the preview time and the achievable performance. The result is applied to standard H2 control problem and the control law and the achievable performance are clarified. The feature of H2 multiple preview action is illustrated with a numerical example.
