Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an effective scheme for a subcarrier-multiplexed (SCM) transmission system based on digitized Radio-over-Fiber (DRoF) technique. We also demonstrate experimentally a tri-band SCM signal transmission over a DRoF link by employing a commercially-available FPGA with satisfactory error-vector-magnitudes of less than 1% at a received optical power of -20dBm.
