Abstract
We investigate the impact of crosstalk between different optical transport schemes for simultaneous delivery of wired and wireless signals in an optical-wireless integrated access network. Our results show that optical tandem single sideband with optical filtering has the best crosstalk performance while the crosstalk in directly modulated VCSEL has to be carefully managed in order to realize a potentially low-cost transmitter in a hybrid optical-wireless integrated base station.
