Abstract
Numerical simulation of the flow field and pressure field on the cyclone separator´s exhaust of a 300MW CFB boiler is carried out in this study. The results indicate that the distribution of the flue gas velocity in the exhaust is asymmetric. The velocity is larger in the lower region than that of the upper region. Due to the influence of the contraction and the off-set of the exhaust, the maximum velocity is nearby the contracted zone. Besides, the pressure difference between the inner surface and the outer surface is the main source of the force on the surface of the exhaust. The axial distributions and circumferential distributions of the pressure difference are all asymmetric. The velocity is smaller in the upper region than that of the lower region, and the maximum is nearby the contracted zone of the exhaust. Furthermore, several ways are proposed for defending the abrasion and transfiguration of the cyclone separator´s exhaust in CFB boilers.
