Abstract
In the modern battlefield, radar faces more and more serious threats from ECM (electronic counter measure) and ARM (anti radiation missile), etc. Only the LPI (low probability of intercept) radar can survive. DAR (digital array radar) has higher flexibility of digital processing and offers a number of attractive features than conventional phased array radar. In this paper, how time-energy management techniques can be used in the DAR to reduce the probability of the radar being intercepted by an enemy´s ELINT (electronic intercept) system will be analyzed. This paper will present the LPI performance of a experimental DAR in the end.
