  • Abstract
    The wide rang´s traffic control system manages various traffic subsystems which has different structure and function, its information platform is a typical heterogeneous distributed system. In order to integrate these traffic subsystems, a mutual information platform needs to be established and the mobile agent technology provides a new method of building the information platform. This paper first analysed the functions of the wide rang´s traffic control system, then expatiate advantages of applying the mobile agent technology in wide range´s traffic control system information platform. Raise the framework of the information platform based on mobile agent, and establish the structure of mobile agent. The primary motivation for this research is to explore a new, innovative approach to built a wide rang´s traffic control system information platform in the future.
