  • Abstract
    The analysis of the temperature field of caving face is a main step to solve the heat disaster in mine. A mathematical model of air flow and heat trasferation in caving face was set to simulate the distribution law of the temperature field of caving face and the air returning corner. And the simulation result was compared with the data measured in mine. SIMPLE arithmetic which is based on staggered grid was used to solved the problem. Then the reason for the temperature jumping in the air return corner was analysed. Theoretical instructions were supplied for the refrigeration plan designing in mine.
