  • Abstract
With the powerful capacity of stunt and graphic character processing, nonlinear editing system is fond of by many teletricians because of multiband lossless replication and other characters during editing. But considering from technologies, it also has some inherent defects. Through analyzing A/D conversion, image compression and other key technologies, factors that can affect the quality of TV program during the program production by nonlinear editing system were discussed carefully. At the same time, conclusions were drawn that in order to get better TV signals, many measures, such as taking care of original material quality, using better capacity equipments to play materials, paying attention to spatial resolution and time resolution while acquisition, and choosing better compression programs to minimize loss of signals, should be taken to ensure better TV program quality exported by nonlinear editing system.
