Abstract
In this paper, our goal is to verify the double diffraction coefficient in the real building scenario. The limitation of uniform theory of diffraction (UTD) when the second wedge lies in the transition zone of the first edge is first assessed. Double diffraction coefficient, based on extended spectral ray method (ESRM) is then applied to real building rooftop scenario to predict the field at receiver moving upward from shadow region to transition boundary. The results are compared with published measurement.
