Abstract
In this paper we propose a fast numerical method for EM scattering from one-dimensional dielectric rough surfaces. we first employ a new impedance matrix splitting scheme for the associated iterative system. We further develop a block operation method to accelerate computation, which transform a 2N Ã 2N problem to a N Ã N one. Due to block operation, run time can be saved about 1/3. Through extensive numerical simulation, our proposed method has demonstrated much improved speed over FBM, and considerably improved convergence behavior over FBM-SA.
