Abstract :
This paper describes a simulator for a digital audio broadcast (DAB) based passive radar system. Sample scenarios comprising a receiver, a target and several illuminators are given. DAB transmission signals are simulated, and an estimate of the signal arriving at the receiver is calculated. The received signal is made up of weak target returns and strong direct signal interference (DSI). Simulated autocorrelation and cross-correlation displays are given.
