Abstract
University library teaching reference information system is important for new knowledge service, how to utilize network technology to realize the teaching reference information resource sharing has become an urgent need of university library. This paper developed a web-based university library teaching reference information system using ASP. NET techniques, and introduced its architecture and main functional modules. Some techniques used in the system were discussed, which include system role represent and use case analysis, dynamic data management, system response speed optimization, system security management and interface design techniques based on ActiveX component. The system has realized remote query and effective management of the teaching reference information resources, and provides the all-round, multi-level information service for teachers and students, thus will promote university library service level for the teaching and scientific research.
