  • Abstract
Genetic Algorithm (the following abbreviated as GA) is an efficient algorithm of searching shortest path. It is applied in GIS of pipeline to realize emergency treatment of squib tube rupture accident, and then to simulate operation to measures according to the path searched. Before evolution, the more complicated pipeline is dismembered into simple network-structure by key point which is defined in this paper. So it simplifies the scale of problem and improves efficiency of searching. It has achieved very good results.
