Abstract
This paper analyzes the symbolic deduction based scheduling algorithm (SDBSA) for the production scheduling problem under time uncertainty in detail. First, the uncertain interval based symbolic deduction method (UIBSDM) which is used to deal with time uncertainty is analyzed in theory. Second, the adaptability of UIBSDM based scheduling plan and the effectiveness of dispatching rules are analyzed in simulation experiments. Numerical computational results show that SDBSA is effective for the problem of production scheduling under time uncertainty.
