Abstract

Product-based service is a bridge to lead the traditional industrial economy to service economy, and will play a critical role to dematerialize China´s economy. As an innovative business model, product-service system shifts the focus from ownership transfer to service provision, and provides an ideal solution to product-based service supply chain. This paper clarifies the concepts of product-based service and product-service system, and discusses the model and characteristics of product-based service supply chain in alignment with the requirements of product-service system.
