Research on classification of emergency materials

Proper classification of emergency materials is essential to build an emergency reserve. According to two new dimensions, which are both the importance of emergency materials and the difficulty degree of market access, emergency materials are divided into nine categories. This paper evaluates the emergency materials using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method so as to determine the classification of emergency materials. The appropriate reserves strategies are formulated when the type of emergency materials is identified. An example is provided to apply this model and method.
