  • Abstract
SFN operation is the natural consequence of the (multi-path) "echo acceptance" capability inherent in COFDM waveform. This characteristic drives to configure transmitter to become an "active echo provider". This transmitter operative mode implies a rigorous synchronisation in time/frequency/content domains. 2nd generation of transmission standards involves per service channel encoding then subtleties on "content synchronisation". Also, hybrid covered network adds peculiarities of geo "stationary" satellite.
