Abstract
We demonstrate a simple scheme which uses only an intensity modulator and an OSA to achieve low-power (~100 nW, 10 aJ/pulse at 10 GHz), self-referenced, amplitude and phase characterization of optical frequency combs and 100% duty factor arbitrary waveforms.
