  • Abstract
    SIMIL (SIMulation of Integrated Logic circuits and systems) is a novel method for simulating complex digital structures - with over 10,000 devices - on general-purpose medium-range computers. Its new macromodelling and simulation techniques, based on a black-box approach and using an advanced Mealy model, multidimensional characteristics and other special features, lead to high accuracy and reduced computational time and memory.
