Abstract
The design of a fully integrated adaptive FM IF system with improved selectivity is presented. By applying a top-down design methodology optimum trade-offs have been made at system level. In this way very good performance of the system is combined with a maximum degree of integration without losing application flexibility. With this IC a step in performance improvement in FM receivers has been achieved.
