Abstract
As high performance computing becomes more and more prevalent, Microsoft provides a new HPC platform, Windows HPC Server 2008. Job management and job submission are key requirements in distributed computing. Users submit to clusters, manage and monitor jobs using job management system. Although Windows HPC Server provides multiple methods for job management and submission, none of them supports web-based and user-friendly interface. In this paper, we present a design and implementation of a Web-based Job Management System (WBJMS) based on user simulation mechanism for Windows HPC Server.
