Abstract :
As an important issue to WSNs, intrusion detection is still in its infancy and there are currently only a few studies in this area. In this paper, we present a novel intrusion detection framework for WSNs. We try to solve the problem of WSNs from a new point of view by using the multi-agent and semantic techniques. We introduce the layered architecture of the framework for WSN intrusion detection in detail. Considering the context of intrusion detection for WSN, we construct a security ontology according to the features of WSN to represent the formal semantics for intrusion detection. The ontology is used to improve the process intrusion detection for WSN. We also propose several algorithms for intrusion detection based on the structure of WSN. The algorithms solve the problem of intrusion detection through a decentralized and cooperative mechanism.
