Abstract

This paper briefly introduces hardware connection, serial port settings, operation commands and control characters in the serial communication between computer and FX Programmable logic controller (PLC) programming port, and it also presents in detail the message format, operation address and communication program written by Visual FoxPro (VFP) during four operations such as Force ON, Force OFF, Read and Write.
