Abstract :
Studies on three-dimensional quasicrystals have been restricted to the icosahedral class so far. We rationally construct the blueprint of a novel, namely the rhombicuboctahedral class. Corresponding polymer microstructures are characterized by visible-light Laue diffraction experiments.
