Abstract :
In this paper, we study the enhancement of far-field emission of dipole caused by the interaction between a single dipole and a silver grating. When the dipole is placed nearby an Ag grating, the surface plasmons coupling plays a crucial role in this enhancement process. The results show that the effect of enhancement differs as the dipole´s direction and the duty cycle of grating are changed. We calculate the enhancement effect under different direction of dipole and duty cycles of grating. Tens of folds emission enhancement is obtained at some wavelengths.
